Job Description : 

The Buyer is responsible for sourcing and managing purchases for Horeto, related to the commercial and event catering sectors. He/She analyzes market trends, monitors competitors, and selects suppliers who can meet the company’s specific needs. Simultaneously, He/She negotiates purchase terms and proactively manages stock, ensuring close collaboration with internal teams to guarantee customer satisfaction and smooth event operations.

 

Responsibilities :

  • Analyze market trends and monitor competitors.
  • Identify and reference new suppliers in the commercial & event catering sectors.
  • Participate in trade shows to discover product innovations.
  • Negotiate purchasing terms (price, deadlines, quality) while meeting budget goals.
  • Establish supplier contracts to ensure the continuity of supply chains.
  • Manage logistics performance in collaboration with operational teams.
  • Anticipate purchasing forecasts and adjust volumes to prevent stockouts.
  • Oversee stock levels and coordinate with partner distributors.
  • Develop trusted relationships with suppliers and monitor product quality.
  • Occasionally assist the sales teams during product demonstrations for clients.
  • Manage the purchase of IT hardware and software, ensuring system performance and security.

Profile Required

  • Successful experience in food purchasing.
  • Strong negotiation skills and excellent relationship-building with suppliers.
  • Knowledge of the event or commercial catering market.
  • Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and team spirit.
  • Good command of purchasing management tools and product referencing.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional and strategic purchasing in a fast-growing environment.
