Job Description

The Food Safety & Hygiene Manager at Horeto is responsible for ensuring the safety and quality of food products during events held at exhibition venues. They analyze product flows and the risks associated with each activity, implement procedures and control systems tailored to the event industry. In addition, they ensure team awareness of proper hygiene practices and monitor compliance with health regulations. They organize hygiene and bacteriological control audits, handle anomalies and non-compliance issues, while working closely with internal teams and suppliers to ensure product conformity and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Fully understand the organization of exhibitions to identify all product flows and analyze risks related to the activities.
  • Update and/or draft food safety management processes and procedures (PMS) for the various operational areas of the exhibition parks.
  • Implement an innovative and event-specific control and traceability system.
  • Raise awareness among on-site teams and ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Address anomalies and non-compliance issues.
  • Follow the bacteriological control plan.
  • Organize hygiene audits of production and sales units during exhibition periods, and propose continuous improvement measures.
  • Ensure product quality (audit and monitor suppliers, create, update and ensure adherence to technical sheets, quality of finished products).
